The love notes I write flow from an overflow of a loving feeling from my heart.
They are an act of giving.
Today I don't feel that way.
I feel heavy and disheartened, but I still choose to give.
I am embracing all of my humanness.
Valerie Kaur writes, "The purpose of divine rage isn't vengeance but to reorder the world."
Marianne Williamson wrote, "If the universe has a voice it's saying this now: "Women, over to you."
Integration means owning all of the parts that emerge from the shadows. Not to be subjugated by the darkness, but to bring them into the light.
I am allowing myself to feel all of my feelings. Letting them move through me, as I meet myself.
Yesterday, when six extremist justices overturned nearly fifty years of precedent and revoked the constitutional right to an abortion this was an attack on freedom. It was a denial of bodily sovereignty and a fundamental human right.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but pregnancy and abortion are a private choice, not something to be legislated by government officials.
I knew yesterday was coming, but it is still a shock.
This is the beginning of the rolling back of rights. Installing the justices on the supreme court is the way republicans found a way to implement a white nationalist Christian agenda and to install control. It is not just people who are seeking an abortion that will be criminalized and prosecuted, it will also be people who have miscarriages and stillbirths.
Contraceptive rights, gay marriage, privacy in the bedroom, trans rights, and voting rights are all under threat.
It is time to mobilize.
Let the fire in your belly and the tears on your cheeks propel you forward.
If you are called to fun for office -- run.
We can focus efforts on the Congressional and Senatorial elections in November. All elections matter, including state elections. Check out candidates at: https://www.candidatesummit.com.

We can work together and form a coalition to support real freedom.
Who do you need to be to stand for what you believe?
It is okay to be tired. It is okay to feel whatever you are feeling. Love yourself through this.
And we can stand together for human rights.
Love,
Rohini
